A celebration that brought together two cultures and two countries: Habibah from Indonesia and Mustapha from Algeria. The wedding embraced Mandailing traditions alongside Algerian culture, creating a celebration that continued from morning until night.
The first reception featured a series of traditional Mandailing performances, including Tortor Namora Pule (the bride and groom’s dance), Tari Balun Balun Bide by Sanggar DK, Tortor Suhut/Sohibul Hajat, Tortor Anak Boru, and Tortor Inanta Soripada.
The second reception continued with the energetic Dabke dance, bringing the Algerian side of the celebration to life.

Bringing Mandailing and Algerian traditions together required careful coordination across multiple cultural elements, performances, and timelines. The wedding also required a trilingual MC who could communicate in Arabic, English, and Indonesian, ensuring that both families and guests could follow the celebration comfortably.
